These are the newest Love Booties in the new Summer Collection on Stitch Africa. They are all 100% cotton and very lightweight and flexible. I love them to pieces! The colours are so adorable, they look edible! I can't pick which one's my favourite, do you have a favourite?

I love Elles!

Since starting my blog on Blogspot I have had an overwhemling response to it from complete strangers / readers. Wordpress certainly never offered me that sense of community so, I love blogspot!

Since most of you will be new to reading my blog, I thought I should share one big secret with you: I love Elephants. Too much, sometimes.

What is it about them? I'm not even sure. I remember discovering about the lands of Africa while I had snuck into my older sisters bedroom when I was younger and it was then that Africa was planted in my heart. I love the way Elephants can survive in the heat. Their skin is tough, old and resiliant. They are slow moving, but quick when the need to be, they bath themselves even though they only have a tube off their face and massive feet. They like mud, and they stick to their families. How many more reasons do you need??

I also LOVE giraffes. And lions. But we will save that for another post :)

In other news, while you're out purchasing these Etsy items for me, I am patiently awaiting my husbands arrival home from music practice! We are going to have a date on the lounge floor! I am very excited, In my opinon we spent very little quality time on each other, so I am looking forward to reconnecting with the one I love <3

Things I Would Like To Do In October - Mondays List

In August this year I set about living like I only had 30 days to live (you can read about my journey here). What I loved most about this is that I set goals and went about achieving them.

Goal setting is great, it gets things done! To-Do lists are our friends :)

Here is my October - Things To Achieve list...

Get a Job

Or at least get on the road to getting one for the end of my Internship (December) when I will finish my work at Church. What would I like to do?

• Something creative, doing things with my hands and using my mind
• A weekday job
• Somewhere in between part time and full time. 30ish hours a week would be primo so I still have lots of time for my Husband and Stitch Africa.
• Something that involves responsibility and leadership/management
• Somewhere where the people are amazing
• Somewhere were I can wear my own style - or represent a style, not just a plain uniform
• Somewhere clean

I'm pretty sure they are all reasonable wants for my level of experience and talents.

Write Letters

To my friends and family, telling them how awesome they are. This was one of my 30 Days To Live goals but it was never achieved.

Plant Flowers

... and grow pretty things in my garden. Spring is the time to do it!

Have Fun

Start regular dates and quality time with Graeme, enjoy the sun and all it has to offer: Beach missions, flower picking, milkshakes, ice cream, tans and summer dresses.

New Summer Collection!

I took a trip to Spotlight yesterday and bought some adorable new yarn for my new Summer Collection for Stitch Africa!

The yarn is 50% cotton - which means that its very light weight (excellent for summer times), super easy to wash, and wont irritate a baby's soft skin like some wools or synthetic fabrics can.

Aren't the colours so sweet?! And when knitted, they look this adorable!

I'm so excited to finish off all the colours and show case them on my website! Stay tuned :D
